The disconnect is the box you’ll see mounted near your hot tub — typically 5 to 15 feet from the tub itself, within sight, and easy to reach in case of emergency. The disconnect contains the GFCI breaker that protects everyone using the tub from ground faults. Code is specific about location, mounting height, and clearance, and we install to spec every time.

Hot tubs need their own dedicated circuit — typically a 50A or 60A 240V run, depending on the spa model.
